Shipping & Returns

Please note shipping charges for some of our listings are calculated based on item size, weight and your delivery postcode. If you require multiple items or the postage figure shown appears high please contact us prior to purchase - we may be able to investigate a better shipping price or offer combined shipping discounts.


We can't offer local pickups - all items must be shipped. You'll find our prices including delivery are lower than the hardware stores - let us know if you find a cheaper price.


Shipping of items will be with one of our nominated national couriers. To avoid any delays and a possible re-delivery fee we will automatically request that the courier leave the parcel if you aren't home at a safe location near the front door. 

If your delivery location is not secure (eg unit block), you have other instructions for delivery (eg place over side gate), or you do not want the item left if you aren't home to sign, you must send us this instruction in the note to seller section when you make payment.

We will update your order with a tracking number following shipment and you can trace your parcel online (not available with all courier services).


Please note that we have no control over the delivery of your parcel once our couriers pick up and we rely on their estimated delivery times. Email us and include your postcode if you require an approximate ETA on your item before purchasing. 


Please note we cannot refund the shipping charge where your item is delayed in the freight system and doesn't arrive by your required date, however we will gladly refund your purchase if you no longer need the item and want to return it. 


Delivery hours are normally 8.30 to 4.30 Mon - Fri. Please ensure your delivery address is correct in Paypal before processing payment if using that payment method. We will ship to the address listed as this is a requirement of seller and buyer protection.


Our couriers do not accept COD or handle cash so all payments must be made before shipping.


Please note that some items are classified dangerous or flammable and cannot be shipped by normal couriers or the post. While our system may display a postage price in the listing, we have no way of alerting you that delivery is not possible to your area prior to purchase.

Important On-Forwarding Information for Regional/Rural Areas


While our couriers can deliver to most areas nationwide, some locations (eg. Regional WA, NT, TAS, VIC, NSW, QLD, SA remote townships and addresses outside town areas) are not covered by our general courier services and may require an additional on-forwarding service.  


If you live in such an area, please check our postcode/suburb listing via the button below to ensure our couriers can deliver to you by using one of their 'on-forwarding' service options. If your suburb appears in this list, our carrier will hand your order over to an on-forwarder, this will incur an additional charge which we can advise you of before you order. Please contact us for pricing before placing your order.

If you aren't happy with your purchase just return it to us. Please contact us before returning an item and we will give you instructions for return. 


We cannot refund your shipping charges for the original purchase and buyers are responsible for the cost of returns to our warehouse.


We cannot accept return of any item which has been opened, used or damaged - all returns must be 'as new' and in saleable condition. We are happy to provide advice on the best product for your intended use - just ask before purchase.


You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). 


As we have no control over storage or handling of our products once they have left our warehouse we are unable to accept any returns on products after 7 days.


Special orders, large quantities or tinted (coloured) products cannot be returned.


If you need to return an item please email us before returning to obtain a return authority number. You should email us at with your details eg (name, address, phone, item purchased and reason for return). We will provide a return address and return authority so you can return the goods. A refund will normally be processed within 3 working days of us receiving the goods in our warehouse. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. 


Please note all returns are subject to a 15% re-stocking and handling fee. 


All returns must be returned to the warehouse address where the items were shipped from, unless we agree in writing to accept returns at another location. 

We reserve the right to charge additional handlling and re-packaging fees for any items returned damaged (ie dented, dirty or markings on the containers). Please pack all items well for return to our warehouse - we cannot accept responsibiity for items damaged in transit being retuned to our warehouse.
